studio 19 is a small private yoga studio in southeast london. located on a quiet residential road adjacent to ruskin park on the border of herne hill and camberwell. the nearest train stations - denmark hill, north dulwich, and loughborough junction - are all within a 5-10 minute walk; brixton tube station is a short bus ride away; dulwich village and east dulwich are just around the corner.
the studio, which is a converted loft of an edwardian house, has wood floors and plenty of natural light coming through windows and skylights. with views overlooking ruskin park and the london skyline, studio 19 is a calm and serene setting in which to practice yoga and meditation.

mats
are made of rubber and jute, natural materials that are biodegradable;
bricks are made of cork a renewable resource that comes from trees; cushions
are stuffed with buckwheat; wool blankets are used to keep warm during
savasana; no electric lights are used during daytime classes as natural
light abounds; environmentally friendly paint has been used to decorate;
and cleaning products are biodegradable and vegan, not tested on animals.
students are invited to do their part for the environment, to walk, bike or take public transport to class and thereby reduce your carbon footprint, to avoid bringing plastic drink bottles to class in order to reduce waste, and to leave cell phones behind and reconsider using them at all as electromagnetic radiation is harmful to all forms of life.
studio 19 is available for hire. it can comfortably fit up to 11 yoga mats. yoga teachers looking for a place to teach a one off workshop or regular classes are welcome.
